Again a quiz, this time for the bird watchers. This bird of prey was, just now, hunting at 25 m from our terrace. Luckily I could grab the camera. Question (as usual) what is its name, including the latin name.
Again a quiz for the biologists. The challenge is the name (again including the official latin name) of this champion of camouflage, that we recently saw in one of our young oaks.
No quiz this time. Just some photo´s to prove that these animals are not only abundant in the centre of London, but actually walk around in nature too.
Which bird of prey is this? As usual we want precise answers including the latin name. Hint: very common here, today a group of eleven was circling above the camping site.
All of a sudden we have groups of bee-eaters at B&B Camping. Beautiful birds, not easy to take pictures with a normal camera though. Abelharuco in Portuguese, bijeneter in Dutch.
